Is this Ich?

White spot on my purple tang and swimming a little eradic, I’m thinking ich. See the YouTube video link if video attachment doesn’t work on r2r. Thoughts?



If it is, I’m thinking of bringing my entire DT down to 1.009 for hyposalinity treatment and removing coral and inverts. Reason being is it would be a pain to get all the fish out into QT (about 22 fish, 200 gallon with lots of live rock). Thoughts?

For info, fairly new tank upgrade (5 months old). 200 gallon with 75 gallon sump.

Running 220 int skimmer 24/7 refugium with chaeto, plenty of flow. Water parameters have been stable

DKH 8-8.4
Calcium 380-400
Magnesium 1380-1400
PH 8-8.2
Nitrate undetectable - have been letting it run its course to see if it would up eventually
Phosphate .04-.08
Ammonia 0

Feed 3 times a day a mix of 6 different frozen foods for breakfast and dinner, pe pellets for lunch, and nori for grazing throughout the day.

Yes new fish added recently but all fish in the tank came from pre quarantined seller (dr reef).
