Hi all, looks to me like there may be a few white spots on my tang. Is this Ich?

Thanks!

Tough to really see clearly, the tang is really active in the video.

The larger spot over its right eye seems more like a minor strike injury. However, I can see a few distinct small spots in the still photo, behind its right eye - that could be ich.

I wouldn't panic quite yet, but it bears watching. The way I tell early ich infections is that the spots tend to "come and go" every day or two, but generally change location and increase in overall numbers over time. Also, spots on the fins are more likely ich and not "mucus plugs" that tangs sometimes get.

Because YOU can see the fish much better than we can, especially with early infections, I came up with this post to help folks ID diseases:

PLEASE REPOST USING BRIGHT WHITE LIGHT INTENSITY, NO BLUE LIGHTS

He looked better for a while but I just came back from a week away and looks like he has some white coat on him. Can anybody help me identify this?

That looks like advanced ich - you’ll need to treat all exposed fish ASAP with Coppersafe in a fish-only treatment tank at 2.25 to 2.5 ppm.
