I was wondering if it is normal for an indo acanthophyllia to scrunch up and expose some of its calcium skeleton during the day? At night it puffs back up and you cannot see the skeleton. This started just recently. Pictures below.

It has not lost any flesh or color.

FYI. All of my water parameters are in an acceptable range. Lighting is low/moderate and flow is low.

Thanks for any help.

How long have you had it and has it always been in that same spot? You say your parameters are are all acceptable which I am assuming you have PO4 and NO3 that are not zero with good test kits.
