Good morning,
I recently was given a older Red Sea 130d tank the seals /silicone all look really good was told it had been redone not too long ago but there are these bubble looking things under the bottom glass panel in-between the black acrylic base im assuming. I guess the question im asking does this look safe/alright or does the tank need to be resealed or just tossed. I should also mention the tank has been up and holding water for almost 3 weeks with no noticeable in water level in back chamber or front tank area.
Thanks for any and all advice.

Do you know how old the tank is? Personally I wouldn't take the chance long term with that tank, but I am curious to see what others will say

I have nothing good to say about Red Sea tanks. Having said that, I don't think the circled areas are a major concern - someone else can correct me if I'm wrong (summoning @UncommonSense because they seem to be very savvy on these matters). That's likely related to the self-leveling mat and not a part of the structure of the tank. The seams are where you need to watch out - bubbles like that on the seams would make that an absolute no-go.

I remember these odd old tanks!

They’re built a bit like an all in one, and are typically acrylic, siliconed together, with a corrugated plastic bottom!

The strange part is that an acrylic tank’s panels are siliconed together, vs. solvent welding…

The bubbles under the bottom pane are a bit odd, but if the bottom pane is indeed acrylic, these bubbles are likely from trapped water between bottom pane and corrugated plastic bottom frame!

— I believe these oddball tanks actually predate Red Sea’s notorious seam failure issues… however, I was actually offered a well maintained running example of these old RS tanks for free not too long ago, and opted to pass on it… the structural acrylic seams being all siliconed together just wouldn’t make me sleep comfortably at night, unless the tank was in my garage, or another area where a catastrophic leak wouldn’t cause home damage!

— beyond the siliconed acrylic structural seams, the bottom plastic frame makes the actual structural seams themselves extremely challenging to examine for defects! Basically, it’s challenging to even tell if one of these tanks is safe to use, even if you know what you’re looking for!
