haha true true about the clams :p well It's hard to get live stock over here, all my stock came into this tank with lots of difficulties, since I live in Madeira Island and it's very hard to get live stock around here :S I haven't had the chance of getting a clam but it's on my to do list :p maybe in December :) humm

LOL I'm a clam nut so that's the first thing I look for, and if I don't see one I have to give ya a hard time:tongue: I've heard that is really hard to get critters down in your area. Are there many other people in your area that are in the hobby?

Yes this is my coast-to-coast overflow :D I'm really pleased with it surface skimming is perfect and tank water exportation is very good as well.

I'm liking what I'm reading about this coast to coast overflow...is it truly silent? How hard is the DIY on something like this? Would love to see pics of your overflow if you have any detailed ones.

Thanks!

Well some details about the overflow... For me very difficult to get the whole piece of acrylic custom made... limited resources around here, so took me 2weeks to get it. But in the US I think you all can find a company that do custom made acrylic parts, CNC cut, laser cut, water jet cut... In my case this is 1 piece of acrylic custom made on a water jet machine. Behind the acrylic there is a piece of glass in order to make the overflow stronger.

This is the side view of the overflow and return pipe.
