So I want to get as many opinions as I can.

I've been looking at reviews for the AI Prime 16HDs and see that many people have been having issues with the lens. Have you had this issue or any other issues with this particular light?

I was thinking to get three of them for my tank build 24"x48" LPS tank.

My prime 26hd melted its lens. It happens beneath the two UV leds. Looks like two drop marks. AI is well aware of the issue.

I’m the second owner of the light. It came like that to me. I never had an issue growing coral with it

That said, I want to sell the light because I bought a Noo-Psyche and didn’t want to sell with the melted lens. I just emailed ecotech last week and despite not being original owner, no receipt, no purchase date, they still are sending me a replacement lens for free. One the lens comes I’ll swap it out and list it for sale

I have not had any issues with the light or app, and the melted spots never got any worse or caused any issues.

I've got three Prime lights (16HD I believe). In addition to the lenses constantly melting, they're also really loud and the fans run near non-stop. A 3D printed part and some Noctua fans have made them just about silent.
I also seem to have an issue where the LED on the front (like, an on/off indication, not part of the actual lighting) will randomly blink for some reason.

For what it's worth, every time the lenses melt, AI sends me replacements for free, but it's still a hassle to take them apart and get them all snapped back together properly. If taking things like this apart isn't something you're comfortable with, I wouldn't bother with these lights.
