I went over selections with the wife before they left. Did a sample closet with the paint.
but the kitchen was pretty run-down before with 2'x2' brown marble tile countertop (grout lines).
Most of my time was spent repairing old walls/ceiling drywall and trim. I also took off the chair-rails.
This is the first time I felt ok with my spackling. Didnt feel like I had to sand too much.
I wish I had time and $$ to replace all the molding like I did the window casings.
Will do the floor in short order. May get that done.

Our old kitchen had grout tile countertops too was thee worst.
