I've had an Aussie Green Goni since 2/24/25, and for about a month it just wasn’t happy. I worked closely with the awesome team at my LFs, testing daily, dipping it in reef food and Revive, changing its location, higher, lower, some light, all light, low flow, medium flow but nothing seemed to help. Eventually, I decided to stop intervening and just leave it alone. It had good light and flow, so I figured if anything was going to happen, it would happen on its own.

Honestly, I had written it off. I was tired of the daily disappointment of not seeing it open up, so I stopped obsessively checking on it.

Then out of nowhere, I noticed the heads were starting to extend from the base again! It’s showing signs of life!

I have no idea what changed, but it looks like it might be making a comeback, and I couldn’t be more excited.
