It has been a lot different than I had previously imagined but I am intrigued. The science of it all is fascinating!Welcome to Reef2Reef!
There are quite a few differences between freshwater and saltwater. I think it's really great that you are taking your time to learn :)
I've discovered that already! I am throughly enjoying researching the posts here!Welcome! You’ll learn a lot more on R2R than on yt.![]()
I had considered that approach thanks for the advice!welcome I was in the same boat. Don't try and learn it all at once believe me its a lot, Get used to opposite opinions but that is what makes this forum interesting . Lots of different ways to do things, When it comes to Coral you can certainly dive deep into that but it is a long journey . Don't waste hours on the internet trying to learn specifics its a waste of your lifeHello friends of aquaria!
I'm a longtime freshwater keeper and an avid learner by primarily YouTube. Fortunately or unfortunately (for my wallet) some of my freshwater folks have been showing of their forays into the Marine world.
My LFS recommended that I begin with Hello Reef, I thought maybe that was a bit of a slow start but it turns out there's plenty I didn't know despite my years of experience on the freshwater side of things.
I'm typically read along and rarely post ot respond to post. I appreciate the wealth of knowledge shared here as I take on thos new adventure.

Thank you!Welcome! I like your name.
Salt is way different but better. Fresh will always have a place in my heart.
