Been doing som eprep work.

Cleaned my office out to get ready to slide the existing tank down this weekend hopefully.

Also some infrastructure prepping.

I currently have a mixing station in my garage that has one 65G freshwater tank and a 100g saltwater tank. These also are connected to the Genesis Reef ATO and water changer. These are fed by a 100GPD BRS 6 stage RO unit.

I bought a 150GPD BRS 6 stage from another reefer and plan on swapping these two and upgrading the 150 to 200GPD system . I also picked up the 3 stage DI upgrade to add to it. I am also going to add 2 300g poly tanks for fresh and salt and worst case scenario I'd have more than enough water on hand to replace all of it in a pinch.

The tank had been sitting at my house so I got some help from my son for a a good cleaning, plus he fit through the top and I couldn't.

Let me know when you get ready to get rid of the old water storage tanks. These would be great for our tanks.

So I built the light rack today.

Trying to decide on layout of the orphek bars.

I have 6 36" bars.

Should I go to left to right or front to back?

Depends on your radion layout but I'd do the long way but with 6 you might be fine either way

Radions will be 3 across the front and 3 across the back.
The bars are just supplemental for some color and any dark spots hopefully.

I won't know for sure until I get it over the tank most likely.

Id do them the long way then. It'll mix nicer

The orphek bars should go left to right. If you go front to back you will see a cone of light from each one.
Parkers reef on YouTube showed this and he ended up taking them apart and taking out their diffusers and it still shows the cones.
