Am looking for 2 return pump for my next build i was thinking about the jebao dcw return pump what do you guys think about those i run a slw powerhead and i love it

I think the jebao are the Toyota Corolla of return pumps. Best value and will run forever. The slw are good, they just have really wide flow that doesn't go across a long tank imo.

I have 3 currently running. One is about 7 years old and has been cleaned maybe 3 times. I’m using two of the larger ones on my 240 gallon. They are the purple and white ones, can’t remember the letter designation for those. Not a single problem.

Awesome do they make the dcp line at around 600gph i want to put 2 pump for redundancy

Bullet proof. Been using the old and new for years. One ran dry for who know how long at least a couple days. I was on vacation forgot to turn on the auto top off. And still ran for years after. Before I replaced it out of caution.

Awesome and what about their gyre wave maker ?
I would recommend the dmp line which in like the vortechs at a huge discount. I have been running one for months now and just ordered 2 more.

We are running 12 various Jebao Wavemaker from 5-7 years.

Still run silent and at a great price.

We also run 4 various Jabeo return pumps 3-7 years.

Out of a total of 25 Jebao products, only 1 failed in first 6 months.

Anything dcp or newer is likely good for a return pump.
For powerhead, theres almost no reason to buy anything besides a dmp (vortech clone). No cord in the tank, less heat transfer, and easiest powerhead design to clean ime.

Agree 100%. I have slw and grye from jebao as well.

I chose against the dry side type of pumps due to space between the tank and wall. I use Tunze eco streams.

For return pumps, I am running a Jebao 10,000 DEP. works great.
