Hi all,
I have two Jebao DP-4 dosing pumps. The first one I received was defective (has a rather odd fault where the clock doesn't run when the power is turned on, but works fine when power has been disconnected), but I ended up keeping with partial refund as spare parts.
I've now got another and I'm wondering whether anyone would know what the differences are internally between a DP-4 and a DP-4S? Could I potentially disconnect the control panel board from the defective unit and link the two via 6-pin RJ12 cable (without connecting power), or are there other differences?
It would be a shame to let it go to waste. I'm assuming there must be a short around the RTC chip or something like that on the defective unit.
Thanks.
Shane
