I had a bunch of issues as well on my galaxy s20
I don't use the pump anymore but I had it in AP and I would let it just sit for a bit and it finally connected. After that I didn't have many issues with it.

Hey Hooz,

I was not able to connect either on my android phone. The way I fixed it was setting them up with my old iPhone. After that I could see the config on my android and program the flow.

Good luck.
Cheer up Hooz. I think anybody with an iPhone can set them up for you to connect to the wifi. After that you're good to go.

I have Nero 5 and 2 ea. Of the jebao slw30's. Nero definitely pushes more water but wish the magnet was stronger. Jebao better for tanks 4' or 5' length. Just a little too weak for bigger tanks.
Hi is the Nero 5 or Jebao slw30 louder when operating on similar settings?

Pulled the trigger and ordered the MLW-5 for my 20gal, probably be a while for delivery as seems to be coming from China.

7-10 days for mine to arrive

What about the dimensions versus the MLW-10? According the descriptions on Ali the 5 is bigger (more depth) than the 10?

Folks, I bought the MLW-10 but it came with 2 pumps and NO power supply! Can someone with MLW-10 (or higher) send a photo of the power supply? MLW-5 uses different power supply, so that won't do!

Here you can see it as well, the mlw-5 has the biggest depth (x70mm) of all, must be a typo.

In this thread i hear a very noisy slw-5:

Is the new mlw-5 as noisy? Do mlw-5 owners recognise that sound from the video?

Mine wasnt loud. the only noise that annoyed me was sometimes the lid would touch the wire and cause a vibrating sound but thats just cause of the plastic lid. Over all the pump was pretty quiet on my MLW5. It was maybe just a fraction louder then the Nero3 I have now

I'm using SLW-20 for my 32G AIO(bought the smaller one before this, I think it was the SLW-10 and it didn't have enough flow at lower settings). Currently running SLW-20 at lowest settings and it's absolutely silent. If I run it at close to 100% I can hear some noise, especially in random mode when it ramps up. So I find it's better to get a bigger flow rate and dial it down for quiet operation

I think this person screwed up. I've got 2 slw20 pumps, they are dead silent. I had 1 get noisy after cleaning it. I took it apart ( super simple) and reassembled it was silent again!

I can hear my SLW30 turning on and off in the sine pattern. My 10's and 20 are dead silent though.

That's interesting, is sine like else mode? I'm considering adding a couple of the 30s on my 400g and 320g, or the ow50 which are closer to an mp40/60 flow pattern then the 30 is.

I cant remember what the other modes are. It's like 2 different sines, constant on, slave and else maybe? I just use one of the sine modes on all of them.

Have you tried else mode? That would be what I'd run it on, that's what I run all my pumps, cp40,slw20,ow20 on for the random chaotic currents it creates.
Only the mcd10000 pumps on the closed loop are at a constant speed. Along with the dcp20000 return pump.

Else = random mode. On my SLW-20 it's the loudest mode(still very quiet/silent if on low settings), and is the mode I run it on as well.

I like the rocking wave motion sine mode creates.

Yes mine are silent on else, so I want to know if the 30 are noisy one else before I order them

I can hear it on all modes on my 30. Not overly intrusive but theres definitely a hum/whir that isnt audible on the smaller models.

Ic have you disassembled and reassembled it? Also does it hold on 3/4" glass?

I had a slw20 get noisy after cleaning, but just taking it apart and reassembling it, Mas it silent again

It's the whir of the motor. I have it on a 10mm glass, not sure it would work on 3/4".
