Just received my jebao sw2 wavemaker. I've used jebao products in the past without any issues. I have a rw-4 but I misplaced the controller so I decided to order a new pump. I found out they had an even smaller wavemaker. Here's some pictures in case any one is interested in the size comparison. The sw2 is about the size of a golf ball perfect for smaller tanks. Another thing to note is that even though the sw2 magnets are smaller, the are twice as strong as the rw4s

What size tank are you putting these on? I have been looking for something tiny for the 8 gallon, but these are probably still too much lol. I actually have a spare controller for an RW-4, sort of late to be any help though lol.

I have this on a 32gl . It's on 80% and it's plenty. On a low setting I don't see this being a problem on a 8gl.

Even the rw 4 is fine on a smaller tank turned right down.

Well this tank is only 11 inches, so even at the lowest setting of 180gph (if I read that correctly) would be too much for this little tank. I think the pump I currently have does around 80 gph and I still get sand moved around in the corner. My rw-4 on its lowest setting would probably blow the rocks over and would most definitely make my LPS very unhappy lol.

I'm glad you brought this up. It's dead silent! My rw4 used to be pretty loud.

I just put it in my 5gl and it doesn't seem like too much. You could even go a couple settings no problem
