I have a UNS 30A Dual AIO. I am looking for a wave maker that will not take up a lot of space and look or hide neatly. A couple options is the hygger gyre, nero 3 and the nanostream 6040. I would prefer Wi-Fi or Bluetooth but limited in options it seems.

I tried my old mP10 that was on a different 5 gallon setup and it was to much for this one even at lowest settings. I was also told that Nero would be to much but thinking they are referring to the 5 possible. The 3 is still a bit pricy. The gyre and nanostream seem to be the main choices but not ruling out anything. I also tried the smaller jebea dpm 5 clone and it was not very controllable at all. Lowest was 30 percent and way to strong.

I had added a nature dimensions auto roller and I am still dialing it in a bit. My flow into tank was high from back return chamber but setup on the roller slightly blocks some grate flow from main display. Lowering the flow allows for levels to stay more consistent and not raise water line when debris builds up. Currently a hair algae problem I am battling. This is why I am needing more flow.

Any other pump ideas would be appreciated. If I find something under 70 I can order this week. If more I will need to wait a while and save. Also thought about just throwing on a mini pump as well temporarily while I save if that is the case just to have a bit more flow while waiting/deciding.

This one should work. It's a tiny USB powered DC powerhead.

That is really tiny. Mixed reviews but definitely the right size. I'll have to look and see if it will hold memory if power goes out. I would believe it should as most do but want to verify.

Looks good but lowest setting is 40. I don't know if it's the same with gyres either though.
good point, I can check when I get home I have a few hygger gyres I've never tried setting them below 50. It could go as low as 10%, I'll let you know

I ordered the mini aquarium USB pump to try out. Was supposed to be here today but there was a delay. I'll do a show and tell with the pump for others here and on my page as well.

I want to see if it will remember settings and how low of a flow and strong this pump can do.

I am still waiting for the pump to arrive. Keeps getting pushed out. Any time it says possibly till 10pm means it isn't coming today... I could have probably ordered another one and got here sooner lol. Done this before.

Can you please also share your experience about how loud is that thing?

I also might need a tiny wavemaker, but it has to be superquiet as my tank is a feet from me! Thanks
