Jhonsons wrasse help

i recived a pair of jhonsons from a vendor here but the male is not eating. i tried frozen mysis brine reef frenzy nutrama ova but he wont eat any ideas please?

Need a bit more info

How long have you had them? Are they in a QT or a DT? What is the behavior of the male like? What other tankmates are present?

also did you try adding selcon, garlic any food additives like that?

Ramon, I've had about every issue you can have with wrasses and eating is seldom an issue unless they are spooked. How long have you had them?

Sorry for late response got busy at work. I had him since friday in elite aquatics acclimation box with his female i have 120 gal sps system. I have a pair of rhomboids. Attenuatus flasher. Splendid pintail pair and pair of clowns purple tang and i dont see anybody bothering him i tried garlic too but he dont eat i just now cover the whole tank for 24 hour blackout see if that works all my other wrasses eat like pigs since the first day of adding them but this one have me confused

He behaves very skidish when ever some body pass near the tank he backs up a bit more in the pvc

I'd give him a little more time to settle in. I have had them be spooked forever though, sometimes they just aren't meant for captivity. It's always the males too. Let us know how he does.
