I've been trying to dial in my skimmer on my current sump set up. Been a pain, dry skimming terribly... Can't wait to get my new sump installed...

Frame for the 25 lagoon is finished, just need some plywood for the top and sump area, then some paint.

The stand for my nuvo black 25 is coming along, just need to paint the top and sump pieces, then buy some walnut plywood for the front and sides.
I have to send in one of my gyres for repair because it's vibrating like crazy, so I'll put one of my Tunze 6040's in there for the time being.
I'm finding less and less pyramid snails now, sometimes I go a day/night or two before I find one, so hopefully I'm on the other side of these little buggers?
Currently I'm dosing EasyBooster, Sps Evo, flatworm stop and TM Elimi-NP (only .5mL a day of TMENP).
I think it's time to clean up the sand bed and sell some frags/corals that are taking up too much room.
Here's a little eye candy.

Vivids tropical dreams, this one I've had for a while, two colonies and three frags in different locations and it never disappoints. The coloration is a cross between an Oregon tort, purple monster and rainbow delight. I think there's more color to pull from this one too. 41B5295D-8FDF-4608-BCEB-2E54CE4A9B05.jpeg

They're still in isolation in the sump, but they're growing and coloring up a little. All from a single Kessil a80 tuna blue.
Just sent off my ICP and waiting for my results before I start the reef moonshiners method/program. Currently daily dosing iodide, flatworm stop and TM Elimi-NP. Continuing Easy Reefs EasyBooster and sps Evo. I also decided to increase my color settings during peak hours for my Kessil's to see if there's any color improvements? So, for nearly 3 hours, the lights ramp up from 30% to 35% color.
I had to send in one of my gyres because of excessive vibrations and they found a defect in the motor housing, so they're sending a replacement pump, which should arrive today.

Also, a few of my jawbreakers are developing pink/purple spots like the mother, so we'll see if they develop the blue spots as well?

Close up of an acro that's been hanging on the sand bed. It's the same one I have on the other side, but it's on a square plug.

Well, just received my latest ATI ICP test and everything looks pretty good, but with a few minor corrections. My RO is showing silicates, so my three stage BRS resins have worked out pretty good, but silicates are slipping by, so I just ordered three new resins from spectrapure, silicabuster super di, maxcap and enduro. Gonna try the hybrid BRS / spectrapure route. I still need to buy the auto flush kit, so that's on the list as well. The ICP showed elevated Tin, but all other pollutants were zero, so I'm just gonna do a few larger water changes and double check my magnets/pumps, etc...... I just placed the order for Reef Moonshiners, so I'll start the method asap. I have been daily dosing iodide, which showed a little elevated, so I'll back off to a single drop a day, instead of two drops. I've been adding 1ppm of NaNO3 about every other day or so, which is helping and I'm slowly increasing TM Elimi-NP to about 1mL a day. I really need to re-home my foxface, which will help with decreasing PO4, but he's such a great fish. He needs his forever home, so I'll get him to a much larger tank asap.

Here's a quick pic to show how tubby he and the yellow tang are, slightly rotund, but happy.
I need to frag my forest fire and few other sps and have a big sale soon. I might even sell a couple smaller jawbreakers (sprinkles Jr) with purple/pink spots too?

Well, I'm full on reef moonshiners now! I have a few correction doses to carry out, but after that, I'm only daily dosing a handful of elements. Two only get one drop a day and three others get 1mL a day. Not bad. I think the miracle mud really helps out with certain elements, but I'm sure they'll deplete over time.
On a different subject; One observation that I've made with battling pyramid snails is the return of vermetid snails. Now that I'm finding less and less pyramids, the vermetid snails are coming back. I know pyramids predate on several different mollusk species, maybe vermetids are one of them? Not readily a method of controlling vermetids, just an observation.
