Hello all reefers

I start a new thread concerning my tank

650 l, mostly SPS
20 fishes, quite heavy load
DSB(Deep sandbed), in the sump/refugium
Calciumreactor, controlled my pH-probe
Separate nitratereactor (I started with only DSB, but the fishes are growing etc), controlled by ORP
Skimmer, medium sized
Air to skimmer via "Divesorb"

Values (approx):
Ca:425
KH:8.3
Mg: 1320
Nitrate: Mostly around 1-2ppm, today, maybe 5(I have increased carbon source to the nitrate reactor)
Phosphate: 0.02

No adding more than 15% water-changes every 4:th week and some Iodid-adding once a week
No feeding of corals
No absorbing media of any kind except carbon from time to time a few days

Some pictures some from today, some before I did a hughe disforest.

Thanks for sharing your tank with us, Jonas. It's absolutely gorgeous! Keep up the great work and happy reefing! :)

Beautiful, looks like you have an angel or two in there as well, do they nip the coral? Obviously not enough to prevent growth!
Thanks:-)
No problems with the angels:-)

Tanks like this make me want sps!!! Great tank..... maybe one day haha!

Awesome dispaly, what lighting do you run?
I am running pacific sun but consider change light as I want a little more power with all my sps.

I am concidering radion gen 3 (I do not like gen. 4 as it is too much disco in my eyes), or maybe GHL, Mitras LX7206. Has anyone tried that? I need 4 of them, so I am of course hesitating of the price tag it costs to getting enough light to my reef. 4 units, of radion or mitras costs for me around 3300 Euro....but the products is very nice.

Awesome nice tank Jonas. What's the dimensions? And possibly a Christmas fts?

Welcome Jonas - Sweden rocks :)

Sincerely Lasse
Thanks Lasse;-), nice to see you here too:-)
As you know I think your system also is very interesting, full of knowledge, and "rocks" a lot:_)

Sincerely
Jonas
