Not much updates yet, I'm waiting for some cash influx in november. An extra skimmer should arrive soon though, and I received news the tank might be powered by a profilux controller

Placed order on Reefs2go should arrive thursday, nothing big though, some porcelain crabs, a urchin and brittle star. I'm buying some corals this week too. I'm so happy I finally can start adding some livestock.

Another small update, I have this crazy idea off adding some schools of fresh/saltwater fish.

All these fish are fresh water but also occur in saltwater. Since they are comingly kept among the freshwater crowd they are widely available and very cheap. Along with the fact that they tightly school, are CB and only get to around 3cm (1.2'') it is almost a no brainer for me.

I also want to add a school of:
Tryssogobius colini

or aioliops sp. (mini dart gobies)

Finally the whole bottom of the tank will be covered with sun coral and dendros (eventually)

Many online stores sell them for around $3, its almost to good to be true

LOL I looked and I can't find them? I did find one supplier who has them listed for like $8 each but they are all sold out.

Order has been delayed till tomorrow but I just picked up a huge amount of black sun corals for $60. They're quite malnourished though (that is why they were extremely cheap) so I'll be bucket feeding twice or so daily. I hope most will make it!

I didn't see the links you posted till today. So do you just acclimate them over a very long period of time just like you would a Molly?

Some updates,
Slowly adding livestock. Received some porcelain crabs (Petrolisthes galathinus), a brittle star (Ophiomastix sp.), and Pink Pin Cushion Urchin (Lytechinus variegatus) a while ago. The urchin arrived half dead so it didn't make it but the rest is doing fine.
My heater decided to break a couple of days too, the black tubastrea were making a great recovery but now look just as bad now as when I got them. Everything else is doing great.
Also picked up a McCosker's Flasher Wrasse (Paracheilinus mccoskeri) today, it is still acclimating but already looks pretty awesome.

My neighors across the street decided they didn't need their minifridge, and put it on the street. Of course I picked it up, and it is actually working. :bigsmile:

Essays never hurt anyone,yet anyway.When I was in school,we had this english teacher,she made us write a 100 word paragraph/essay,what ever you will,every day,for the whole school year.They were stupid questions and topics like "If you were a flavor of ice cream,what flavor would you be" "if the term Thinking out of the box could be applied to you,how would you think out side of the box" "If Jack and jill when up the hill and Jill came toubling after,what made Jill tumble"

Things like that,enjoy the small ones that are'nt 100 pages,they will get larger as you go through school...LOL
