I can't compete with some of these amazing picture but will post one anyway.. Was trying to get one with his top fin up. He had other ideas.

Clearly they are very pretty!

They starve easily. Assure there is regular food source.

Shaun, do you know what is better than a Mandarin fish ? a pair of Mandarin !!! they will look stunning in your tank.

Copepods yes, but train them. A few days of live brine, then graduate to frozen brine, and then what looks like copepods- Mysis shrimp. Still feed copepods but this has worked more than once getting them on frozen.
Glad to see how someone is getting them to eat, I've tried but with no success, I've been waiting on tank raised ones, was told it would be awhile

Algaebarn has tank raised ones. Liveaquaria sometimes has the ones sourced from algaebarn on their website also. That’s where mine is from :)

I’m currently researching Mandarin fish, and now in pairs ! Lol

I think I have lots of what they eat anyway, but just want to be sure before I get one, or two!
