I have seen several pics of your acan collection on here and other boards. I will be the first to admit that I AM JEALOUS!!!!! You have to let me know what your bulb combination was to get these kind of colors. I WILL NOT ACCEPT NO FOR AN ANSWER!

those were just actinics x 2 geissman bulbs.

they look even better with the aqua science bulbs.


look in my dosing thread, its got pics with the new bulbs.

Ill get some more like the above ^^^ with the new bulbs.

my current bulb combo is

4 - 22k's
2 - Duo
2 - 15k

all from aqua science.

colors are as seen i can assure you of that =)

i cant wait to see them all through starphire in my new tank. I hope the look as good as the top downs seen above.

I would love to actually get a zero edge tank for those, and light them with their new LED fixtures.

Junior i will pm you later, we have aqua science bulbs but they sell out quick! I definitely notice corals color up better under them.

are you keeping any sps under these bulbs? how is the growth of the corals under these bulbs?
im running 8x80 watts 2 bulbs on one switch and 6 on the other. What do you think the combo should be? 2x22k's on one switch and 2 duo's and 2x 15k's and 2 actinics on the other? or 2x22k's 2x15k's and 2 duo's on one switch and 2x actinics on the other?

The disgusting part is, Juniors acans would still glow under super ugly 6500K light.... I swear they glow in the dark! I have to wear shades when I go into the basement otherwise I have these super bright spots in my eyes when I drive home form the acans burning my retna...like when you look at the sun too long, ya know?!?
