Hi @i cant think, sorry to tag you out the blue but by reading different threads, I know you are a wrasses expert. I have a noob question, is the tail spot of melanurus wrasses male disappears with age? Thank you in advance if you have time to respond.
I believe only the females have a very obvious caudal spot but the males do have one it’s just not as obvious as the fish ages.

I bought a tds meter to check the rodi water I am making, it is at zero so perfect. Tap water is at 184. Also I bought all for reef for future use. I bought some new small frags. 2 sps ( one acro and one monti not plate as if it is luckily growing it will shadow the tank as it is small), one favia, one candy cane and one mushroom.

Fish behaviors:
The clowns acting as clowns nothing special.
Magenta dotty back, he is sneaky on wrasses only, protecting his caves even if he is not sleeping there.
Midas blenny staying on his caves and looking what is happening. Swimming is the top and going back. I feel anything can affect its emotions.
Yellow wrasses can easily be afraid and hide in the sand. It has a strict internal schedule. It swims in the open water from 8am to 4pm and go to bed.
Melanurus wrasses swims mainly is the bottom part looking for food on rocks.

Since the feeding one of the wave maker was not working but the controller had no error. I won't lie not very happy with them since beginning. I tried many thing, cleaning, on/off... I bought a new one and since I played again with the controller and both are on now. I ordered orphek lens few days ago 52 mm but it will be delivered mid February only, hopefully better pictures and at some point I will get the camera to check if it is better with it. From tomorrow also I will increase the light as of now only 40/45% blue and 10% white at the top (I have also natural light coming to the tank) . I would like to get a pics of the zoas colony but quite often a fish touch them and a part is closing.

I had a small aiptasia which I glued recently but this morning found like a huge one under a frag. It was between 2 small rocks glued together. I took the frag out the tank, I was able to detach both small rocks. It becomes so tiny as I was able to see it properly. I took it out and glue it's spot in case. I change the container and water as it can spread when feed in danger. Also a Pic of the zoa colony. When I bring it home I put it on the counterpart of the kitchen maybe 25/30cm from the edge it roll and fell down still in the bag with water. The zoas on the top left stays closed since entering the tank and a small part got detached too. I think this is the part which hit the floor. The ones detached are open.

Yesterday addition of a new rock with a hitchhiker a tailspot blenny (it was a hard way to come to the aquarium). I bought one a day before. It settles quite fast as it came with its cave. The initial one stays 2 days on back glasse and sleeping on the sand in a corner (it got bully by the dotty back and also by the clowns). 2 hours ago it found it's cave on opposite of the other. Today I rearrange the rocks and also tried to glue corals ( I am not good at it). One side is zoas garden and opposite will be the mushrooms garden. I keep 4 places for sps under the led for later (mid height of the tank). It feels more more empty now.

Aren't you going to get frags today too?
Yes I went to the shop which does 50% but was not convinced frags were in good shape so I headed to another LFS I took 3 frags, 1 conch, a blue leg, 2 snails and the flipper lens (the magnet is not floating FYI) so I can enjoy my corals. It is already 6:20pm and light switch off at 7:30, sorry if it is blue.

I add another wave maker to give more agitation at the surface. I add 3 more frags (pics with no orange filter). Found one blue leg dead outside of its shell, I don't know if it is the melanurus or the other blue leg. The conch is not moving I could see its eye last night. Concerning tailspot, during the day one is staying on the back glass and the other one on rock. If he stays on the glass no aggression but for sure no really pleasant. During night time no issue both go on the rock. I tried to catch one yesterday to bring it back to a LFS but no success.

If your tailspots work out, I'm getting another
Today was a better day for the tailspots, far from perfect but improvement. The one of the glass was moving more around his submission area. First half of the day, he was completed ignore. This afternoon, the bully came few times for intimidation no nipping. Directly after light off, they both stay like less than 2 inches of each other. I will follow if it goes better or not.
