Today I'm getting rid of the flatworm pest. And I'm about an hour in treatment and the crazy thing is that everything is open like acans. I don't know if it triggers a feeding
Or what but everyone in the tank is great. I didn't have as many as I thought I did. But still alot

A trick to get the surface super smooth is a damp rag wipe with the grain it raises the grain a little then let it dry, sand it smooth, do a few times and the wood will be smooth as glass before you even finish it.

Most of the time I put one coat of clear. Then sand when dries but I'm going to do it like you said. Thanks for the advice sounds great.
No problem, trick I learned from a teacher in school when he was making a full wall entertainment center for his loving room. It made the finished product look amazing. Cant wait to see how yours turns out.
