Two of my Yumas were letting some jelly out of their mouth (white and squiggly). One of them seems very happy now in the acclimation container and I'm hoping the other turns out better as well. I've heard a lot about the jelly infection that causes a lot of Yuma deaths. You think the Yumas are infected? Or is it just shipping stress? I rarely buy coral online so I don't 100% know how they react to shipping.

That white squiggly stuff is mesenterial filaments. Basically their insides. That means they're super ticked off. Mushrooms are usually hardy so hopefully they bounce back.

Also depends where you got your Yumas from. Are they aquacultured or wild? Wild yumas are hard to keep alive.

The website has many yumas of the same color so I hope they're aquacultured, but one of them is pink and I hear most of those are wild caught. It didn't let much out, there's just a little bit around the mouth. I'm glad it's not the Yuma killer infection, hopefully the pink one bounces back as the other one seems to be happy again.

Update: got back from the gym and the pink yuma has closed its mouth and puffed up. All yumas look very happy
