Meh, there's bad info and advice everywhere. Facebook isn't any worse that R2R from what I've seen, and I'm a member of a few Facebook groups for reefing.
valid point, but, its not the advice, per se, that makes Facebook terrible.
its the wide (often unintended) audience(s) that it reaches.
I wont go too in depth over this aspect, just know that its not just friendly do-gooders that "parooze" facebook.
Oftentimes, what one might consider useless "data" can actually be used against you.
Not a flat earther, or tin foil hat donner, but, the more open you are about things, you can bet, there is someone, somewhere, using,
and storing that info.
For example, when our troops are posting pictures of themselves in Afghanistan, 'unfriendly entities' see that data, and can locate troop movements and guesstimate troop size and strength. Even if they aren't 'friended.'
Many commands have mandated that all actively deployed troops avoid all social media while in active areas.
Not that all of you are doing such a thing, just know, the world isn't full of like minded peaceful reefers.
