Welcome to the party. Do you currently have a tank running, or still in the planning stages?
Yes I do have a tank running. 80 gal, oversized sump that used to be under my 120. Maxspec Razor LED lighting, Skimmer, calcium reactor, bio bead reactor, GFO reactor, Apex controller with 2 pH probes (one for tank, one for calcium reactor), temp probe, conductivity probe, ORP probe, ATO and lunar lights. Also running ozone into the skimmer for 15 minutes every 2 hours. Still running two filter soxs, which I hate constantly changing, but thinking about a roller mat system. Not sure if the dirty side will smell. If it does, my wife will throw it and me out the door since the aquarium is in the living room.

Welcome to R2R. We’re glad you joined
Hi everyone,

Just joined the forum and am hoping to learn from all of you. I live in Southern California, Orange County. I have been in the aquarium hobby for most of my life but in the last few years have become serious about keeping a reef tank.

I have a question regarding macro algae I will post in the appropriate place and hope someone can help.

Thanks,
Boomer52 (AKA Dave)
