Thank you all. It is getting better with time but when the sadness subsides come the anger and what ifs. I wish I could of just been a better person to her.

Thx everyone. I am glad my reef tank is doing okay while I ignore it for a few days. Just have no love for it at the moment.

My heart goes out to you, I am sooooo sorry for you and your family. My sister has been gone for 4 years and a month. Her BF killed her and got away with it. Our prayers are with you and she will forever be too, in your heart.

Yesterday was my sisters funeral and it was probably the second-hardest day I have ever had. I did feel some closure but today I am still sad and just thought about her all day...I can't even remember doing my water change.

I know with time things will get easier but I just feel so sad that she will not be carrying on with us...well here physically. I ignored her BF of 20 years today...it is hard to not put most blame on him when he ALLOWED this behavior to exist without even mentioning it to us. He states he sent a text message a month ago but if it was getting really bad someone should of contacted one of us. Just sad when this could had been avoided but I guess God has other plans for her now. I am happy she is in peace now without dealing with the constant dislike from her bf. This happened on his watch and as men we should always take care of our family first.

My son took his first step today as he is only 9 months old. I felt so happy but then instant sadness because I know she will never be able to see him walk :(

Thank you. It's never going to be ok but God knows he is guilty and will pay someday. I'm content with that now. I had those what ifs as well. Don't beat yourself up! I am sure she knew you loved her :) All the other stuff is trivial. Remember the good things, she is at rest now and you will see her again some day.

That's so sad! Sounds like my sister... Concentrate on your son and family. The hardest part is over now. Keep her kids close and let them know how much they're loved too. This will be especially hard on them.

Congrats on your son walking! 9 months, wow! Such a fast learner :)

I'm so sorry for your loss! I'll keep you and your family in my prayers...like everyone has said, it takes time and in some ways ya never really get over it..but it does get better, eventually...keep your head up, enjoy your tank, your family, and your friends!
