Hello! I have a 180 gallon with sump that was previously freshwater. I don’t know the brand of the tank, but it is acrylic and is not open on top except two big cut outs with covers.

My question (first of many lol) is that the top has a lift up wood cabinet covering it. There is about 5 inches between the top acrylic and the bottom side of the cabinet. What are suggestions for lighting? I’m guessing I can attach lights to the wood directly? Any model suggestions? Looking to have fish and corals. Starting simple. Thanks!!
