Well for an aquarium the investment doesn't make complete sense but for diving and snorkeling, absolutely! I even plan to get personal one on one lessons from a professional photographer I've been in contact with for a while now. It's really important to my desired career path as well as personal interests so it was kind of a necessity for me.

You can get a pretty solid micro 4/3 camera and macro lens that wont break the bank these days. I bought a Panasonic Lumix G85 last year and have slowly been collecting lenses. Just got a macro lens for future pix of the tank.
