kalk & bubble algae

i was zapping a few aptasia with kalk paste 6 days ago
i madeup some thicker kalk paste this time and while i was zapping i put some on the bubble algae.
its been 6 days ,bubbles have turned colorless.
some of the kalk paste is still stuck to the bubbles,im wondering if ive killed the spores.

i mixed a teaspoon of kalk with just enough water to dissolve and then applied with a syringe
has anyone tried this method before.

I tried it to kill Manjano anemone before.. get the paste thick enough to sit on there for days,killed mine

i thought the kalk would just blow away but makeing it thick enough it stays
