hi everyone i’m wanting to start dosing kalk but i’m a little confused, i have a whole neptune system on the way with the trident and dos, so i’m planning on starting to dose kalk with my dos but my question is how do i do this? do i calculate my evaporation rate and dose that amount in kalk? do salinity levels stay stand this way?

Dosing kalk and topping off with kalk are 2 different things.. what are you wanting to do?

Kalk should be used as an alkalinity and calcium supplement. So amount dosed should be based on alk consumption. It can take a little trial and error, and in high-demand systems evaporation can be limiting. Are you currently dosing anything? What is your daily alk consumption?

One of the benefits of using kalk is that it doesn't add salinity over time, like 2 part does.
