He responded to me a few days ago and said he was going on vacation. I wouldn't assume he is a scammer just because he hasn't responded. I know when I go on vacation I ignore my phone and everything else so I would assume he is enjoying his time away.

I agree. They could be on vacation but not responding to questions from 3/15 makes it suspicious. More than willing to remove my comment.
