Kamoer X2SR Automatic Water Change

I've looked at this unit and am curious if it will work the way I need it to. I don't know that any of you can give a definitive answer but it's worth the ask. My tank is in my home office. My saltwater supply is in my garage. The home office and the garage are basically at the same elevation. The line to go between the saltwater supply and the tank would be approximately 100' long in total and would run from the saltwater supply, up through an attic about 25' tall, then back down to the aquarium. The X2SR installed by the aquarium would have to basically suck the water through that 100' of hose with a maximum elevation of about 25'. It does have the benefit of the weight of the water pulling it back down toward the aquarium but that's only after it's managed to suck it up the 25' elevation and the water starts back down. The part of the line going from the attic down to the tank would stay full of water however from the high point back down to the saltwater supply it would probably drain unless stopped with some kind of check valve. Anyone think this will work?

I’ve tried to get this working on an Apple device on iOS 26.1 and 26.2 and an older Apple device on iOS 4. I bought an Android tablet and still can’t get this to work. I’ve installed a dedicated single band 2.4ghz extender which is 3 feet from the router and 3 feet from the Kamoer X2SR. Nothing has worked. The app will connect and the device will work and then a few hours later the app reverts to the spinning circle and “uploading” forever.

I’ve plumbed tubing from my garage, through two walls, to my aquarium. I’ve bought a hundred feet of tubing, an Android tablet and a dedicated 2.4ghz WiFi extender. I still can’t get this Kamoer X2SR to work.

Kamoer hasn’t responded to my support request.

I’m sorry about that, it really sucks.

I just bought one and I’ll make sure to test it before setting it up. Sometimes apps don’t work on my tablet (ipad) but work on my iPhone. Have you tried with your phone ?
