KCI and interceptor dips

Hello , I set up my quarantine tank .

I have KCI powder , and interceptor pills .

1. Do you guys dipping both SPS and LPS with this stuff ? Not together of course

2.what are the recommended dosage for them ?

I use 1/2tsp of KCL per liter of seawater to dip or spray for 10-15 minutes.

My KCl dip is more concentrated:
4 cups tank water, 1/2 TBPS KCl, 8 minutes

I’ve only done one batch of interceptor dips. I used 1/3 of a large dog pill in 10 gallons of water. I did three dips, 12 hours long, one week apart. I’m interested in what others do. I didn’t have an infestation, this was a prophylactic dip.

Is the KCI dip safe also for LPS corals ?

Yes, softies, clams and anemones too. Not so good for flatworms, worms, shrimp, or crabs.

KCL is my go to dip for all coolant costing LPS and softies. Works very well and seems more gentle then most of the off the shelf stuff.
