Hi everyone, hope you're doing well.

I want to get a new temperature controller. Unfortunately Inkbird isn't available in my country but there is a company that imports them, at a much higher cost obviously. They told me they supply the KegLand temperature controller to many brewing companies in the country. So I just wanted to check if anyone here has used this controller or if I should just get the Inkbird ITC-308.

Also, please let me know your guys' experience with the Inkbird ITC-308.

I'm sorry this didn't get a reply sooner!

I'm unfamiliar with that Keg temperature controller, but I don't see why you couldn't use it. I think you'd just have to make sure that the probe was both saltwater safe and resilient.

I do have and like the InkBird temp controllers, so if you have access to them I can say that they do work, even if you have to pay a premium in your case.

There are certainly other temp controllers too. I also have and like the Ranco controllers. These are industrial quality so they are very good, and used in a wide range of commercial application from heating to cooling (think food preparation and storage facilities, etc.). Again, you just have to make sure the probe is good for saltwater, but a quick search will give you a lot more information; these controllers are very popular in reefing and elsewhere. I also know you can almost always find a Ranco controller on eBay, maybe one of the sellers there can ship to you.

The InkBird controller is very good for sure, but if in your case it the same price or more than the Ranco, just get the Ranco, it's an industry solid controller.

I hope that helps and good luck!

Thank you for the reply!

I’ll go check if the probes are saltwater safe or if I can find a silicone sleeve for the probe.

Appreciate your insight!
