Hello just recently purchased a neon Kenya tree and placed it near the center of my tank with medium flow and decent light intensity
.
My salt is 1.026
Nitrate is .1 ppm
Ph 7.9-8.1

Kenya trees are immortal - you can put them on the bottom of the tank and they can be a pest in a few months! Congrats & enjoy — you will likely come back to this thread and wonder why you purposely “infested” your tank!$&@ :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Are they bad in ANyway? Do they have any drawbacks besides overgrowth I love how they look!!

Sadly my file Fish nips at it, it hasn’t fully

Oh no, you’re good — they grow super fast, along with Xenia, GSP, and zoas. Put them on a rock island to contain their growth.
If I have a large piece and want to snip it can I just place the fragged piece resting on a rock or do I need to glue it

It looks like this after 6 days can it be possible it doesn’t like it’s set up? It was nearly tripple the size in store

I’ve eradicated all of mine several years ago since they kept dropping babies and took over the tank. They can be temperamental but if you maintain stable params, they will be fine. Honestly I don’t think you should fret about it — as long as other softies are growing, they will heal and recover.

Perfect appreciate the response. Currently my Gsp is taking over one of my rocks and on another rock I have this tree
