Kessel H380 grow light

Bought the Kessel H380 light. With my current set up I only have about 6-8 inches of clearance between the water and the light. Is there a way to tone down the light so it doesn't burn my chateo. Could you angle the light so the light would be 12-18 inches to reach the water level but at a 45 degree angle to the water?

I don't have any experience with Kessels. I tried to buy one at the Fort Lauderdale MACNA but they refused to sell one to me, but that aside, yes, you can probably angle the lamp. Just be aware that the water surface will reflect a lot of light but this can be partially overcome by agitating the water's surface.

I've heard good things about Kessels and hope to obtain one soon. The new lab costs ran about $15K (GoFundMe supplied about $5,800 after fees) so I need to get a couple of articles published in order to start purchases again. But one tank is up and running!
