Kessil 360x issues

Just picked up an a360x used from a guy here on this site. Looked to be in great condition and had no concerns on delivery. I plugged it in and let it run for 30min while seeing the difference it would make mounted. No issues.
Today I get my mount and WiFi dongle hook it up and getting nothing but problems and errors hooking the dongle up and here’s the problem the light flickers on and off then all the way off. I disconnected the light multiple times and tested removing the app re downloading per kessil instructions and the light will continue to power up then flicker and shut off. Do I have a dead light I just purchased??

I suppose it is possible that the person who sold it to you got rid of it because of faulty wifi dongle connection issues. Can you use it with the physical dials and a simple timer outlet instead? Not ideal, but potentially a pseudo solution.
