Hey everyone, I just bought a new kessil X controller for my a160 but it seems to not have anywhere to plug in the K line to the actual lamp. Therefore the lamp doesn't show up on the controller. I have the mini USB plugged into a iPhone block so the controller comes on but it doesn't read that any lamp is present. Any tips would be much appreciated or a link to an adapter or something would be great, Thanks!

The 160 does not support k-line. You will need to use the 3.5mm jack to connect the 160 to your controller.

Connect a 3.5 mm Jack to the output or the input on the lamp? I already have the Jack that they sent me connected to from the 0-10v input on the controller to the input on the actual lamp so I guess I'm not following you. Sorry

Yes that is the correct one.
Looking at you previous photo, I see that you already have one plugged into your light controller. I am going to assume that is connected to another light. If that is the case then you can plug the 160 into whatever light that this cord (red arrow in the this pic) is going to and they will both be controlled in sync with eachother.

Sorry I missed that. You only need the 0-10v line on the controller connected to the "input" on the light. That is it, all done.

For some reason the cord they sent me doesn't want to register the light when plugged into 0-10v and the input on the lamp so I went ahead and bought the one pictured above, who knows hopefully it works. Thanks for the help!

i have this same setup. i actually have two of these lights, and that same controller. the kline is used for a different light, so that one wont be used. you will only use the power and the 0-10v. to use the controller itself, you need to make sure you are under the right dashboard. within your picture, you were under teh TB part of it, which is the wrong one. within that, there is the 0-10v, which is the one that you will use to make all of your settings.

the k line cord is for use in the a360. sorry to say, you basically wasted some money on a cord that you probably wont use. however, if you buy a second light, it will be useful to connect the two lights together

You have to make sure your light program is selected under the 0-10v section of the controller.
