Who is running one and how do you like or not like it so far?

I have the A350 running over my 24g, a little more than a month now and I gotta say my lps esp my favia and chalices look fantastic, wonderful colors on them, best colors I've seen even under T5 and 20K MH, I also notice nice growth starting on all over them where I wasn't really getting any with T5.

Also, my acros have stayed nice and colored up, didn't experience any bleaching or browning out of them from making the switch (I did take my time light acclimating my tank..about 3 weeks) noticing some encrusting on them now that I am at 100% both channels 7 hrs a day for 2 solid weeks

All in all I gotta say is so far so good with this light, I am extremely impressed with colors and growth and I am one who never thought I'd run LEDs

Nice...I plan on purchasing 2 of them for my 65g but I was wondering how well they did with SPS...Most videos I have seen only show mostly LPS and softies in the tank, so I was wondering if the reason for that was SPS don't farewell under them..I really love the shimmer they give off in the tank...

Any par numbers listed for this light? I've been kind of fascinated with it since I've seen your posts from other threads.

that is one reason I'm groveling for info here is to find out if others are doing good with their sps and this light..I think the jury is still out for me because it's too early to tell but so far everything looks positive, I am seeing more encrustation and great colors

I also remember reading Kessil claims that they do have some UV coming out of the diodes so that is a plus for acros

Just remember that you won't get a true reading from a par meter. Apogee states on there website that their meters underestimate blue LEDs.

I don't have much in my tank yet but some zoes and they look great under the A350. The light is great for smaller tanks like mine a 27gal. cube. I will be making a trip to Battle Corals this weekend for some SPS and will be posting updates on my Nano in 90 thread.

Lucky you! Adam has some of the nicest sps available!
@FaviaFreak,
How many watts is it with both channels at 100%?

I think your right it's the perfect light to put over a nano...my temp has stayed a rock steady 77 all summer

I have seen a few of these (and the 150 version) in action at a local Frag Swap. I really liked the color and overall output, spread, design, etc... but the fact that you have to turn a knob on the fixture to dim the light is IMO completely ridiculous. Until they fix that, I'll have to look at other lighting systems. :pout:

I'm sure future versions will have better functionality but it helped to keep cost down for this release, for a small tank like mine with only one light I actually don't mind playing with the knobs to adjust the light and for most of the day I have them at 100% anyway but I'm also home all day and if I were at work I wouldn't be able to play around so much....I do see your point (well taken)

I'm running one over a 20 long. Will downgrade to a 10 gallon square tank when I have to move back to school. It's a pretty legit light. Hasn't bleached my single acro yet.

I would like to know about light spread..I have read the A350 has a tight beam but significant par...does that mean the wider beam of the A350W has lower par value?

I've got the a150 over a 30 gal cube and wanted to purchase the a350 but need to know how SPS tanks will fare with it. I've only had the a150 a month and have my eyes peeled for growth. So far, under diy kits, and t5s I had little, only under MH did I notice considerable growth.
