Even if as low as 20%?
Corals need a certain amount of intensity, a single a360x is lighting my 54 gallon corner tank and growing sps.... so a 30 gallon should be no problem for it. I've never recommended longer than a 12 hour photo period honestly. And you do have it mounted pretty close to the waterline at 5 1/2".... If it were me I would make some sacrifices somewhere in the best interest of my critters...

How does your tank/coral look? I’m curious
Never mind I just scrolled and found a video lol
I run from like 12pm to 11 I believe..... basically the BRS recommended 20color(blue) 100 violet and 20 red(or whatever the said on the video)
Max Intensity is like 87 because I’m still raising slowly until my acan and Duncan adjust and max intensity runs from like 3-7 with a ramp up and ramp down

That's not bad at all...
I’m at 11 hrs.... What’s your schedule? I just posted mine on here
I'm at 10 hours 8 hrs of ramp up and down and 2 hours of intensity in the middle... following @minus9 schedule from previous in this thread...

What is your intensity set at? And for how long are you running your peak at?

Honestly contemplating adding a 2nd one to decrease shading... I love this kessil a360x... it has been one of the best lights I've owned...
Me too but I need a t5 hybrid now for shading. I got a 120 that’s 6’ long with only 3 kessils over it.

Can I ask for a little help. Purchased a single A360x and put it over my 30 gallon. Light is 5 1/2 inches from the water. I know it's close but stops light from spilling out onto the walls. Sand bed is 18 inches from the light. Ramping up to 60% for three hours then ramping back down. Now my light schedule is running long from 5:30 in the morning until 10:00 at night. But it doesn't ramp up and hold any kind of hard light . It's just so I can see my tank before I go to work and after I get home from work around 6:00 or 7:00. By that time I'm only at around 15 to 25%. Seems like my frogspawn and mushrooms are getting burnt at 60%. Could that be true? I have just today bump them down to 40% and see what kind of reaction I get from my actos spawn and zoanthids. Just seems that 40% is awfully low.
Pick a 12hr window that suits your needs and set your schedule. If you're just starting out, then ramp up for 3hrs, gold peak for 6hrs, then back down. If this seems like a lot 0-10v then use acclimation mode and run it for a couple weeks until you hit the right intensity. Peak a color % that you like and use that during your peak period, then ramp down to 0% color following your intensity. Observe your corals, they'll tell you if there's anything going on, too much or too little.
