What have you found broI didnt even know they have come out with a v2. Going to reasearch it
I have the v2, it's a pretty good light, certainly able to keep corals happy. I tried with acros and accidentally bleached them when the light malfunctioned (my fault, not the light's), so they are powerful. I have read complaints from people about the fan noise, though I don't find it bothersome at all. What have you found bro
I would prefer arms but it doesnt really matter. Do you know if i can use just one and if so whuch model of the aqua knight should i use.
I live in new zealand and the prices rocket so im not sure if they will be about 60 bukcks but thanks so mich for answering again. You would need 2 of the version with three pucks (three led under each) it should be 60 bucks.
Do you mean the v2 or the other one just to be sureYou would need 2 of the version with three pucks (three led under each) it should be 60 bucks.
Take the V2 Aquaknight. 36 watts and programmable sunset/sunrise (on the device itself, no app).Thankyou everybody for answering i think i might go with aqua knight but still deciding
Some (me included) had a faulty temperature controller, so the fan was constantly ramping up to 100% hence the complains about the noise.I have the v2, it's a pretty good light, certainly able to keep corals happy. ah, I see. Do agree that it is a great light, while being quite cheapSome (me included) had a faulty temperature controller, so the fan was constantly ramping up to 100% hence the complains about the noise.
Got a new one and haven't heard it since then, great light.
Will i need two for a tank that 18in width (45cm)Take the V2 Aquaknight. 36 watts and programmable sunset/sunrise (on the device itself, no app).
Nothing under 100 i think even 150 bucks beats this light.
It depends really, I have mine on a 60 cm tank and the edges don't get a lot of light. This doesn't bother me though because I don't have any corals on the edge. It should be able to light a 45 cm tank nicely. If you want very good coverage then go ahead and get twoWill i need two for a tank that 18in width (45cm)
