Kessil AP700 Mounting Ideas

Been checking out lights and from what i have seen/read am thinking about the AP700 but it does not come with any mounting kit. For the kessil owners on here, how did you mount your light? I saw that they sell a arm kit but it would be $120 which I just am not paying for because its essentially two pieces of pipe lol

You could do the hanging kit for 40 bucks. But then you have to hang it from your ceiling. Otherwise you could head to menards or home depot and get shelving arms https://www.menards.com/main/storag...74883581979795824&ipos=14&bargainStoreId=3106 with an I-Bolt and hang it from that.

I used to have the arms
in my opinion it not worth the $150 spent lol.
I buy wire from homedepot for $15
but you must be careful and do it correctly

Dunno if you are into a kind of rustic idea but I made this for my tank:

Was fairly easy and cost me around 60 dollars, I think it looks great if you have the room to do a hanging option like this.

I really like the 80/20 option but with my overflow its not really an option and it would cost about as much as the kessil mounts

I think for that you still need the actual arms, that just allows you to mount the arms off of the tank's rim :/
