I have a Waterbox 220.6 with (2) Kessil AP9X’s. I’ve been struggling getting a light setting that works. The corals I’ve had for a while seem to be doing okay, but whenever I add new corals they don’t seem to make it.

At peak times I had my intensity at ~55%, 100% Blue, 10% White, 20% Violet, 5% Red and 5% Green. I used a par meter and dial in the intensity.

I recently put in some Tracs near the bottom and they bleached out in almost a day. I’ve since tried to reduce the intensity down to 40%, Blue 90%, White 5%, Violet 20%, Red/Green at 5%. Bought more…and they bleached out again. I also purchased some encrusting corals that browned out. Also tried some plating monti…no luck either.
I dose alk/cal/mag…measure using a Trident (have checked calibration) and perimeters are at 9.5/409/1415 respectively. Water Temp 78.

I was hoping someone might have a schedule for the same or similar tank that they could share for a starting point. I feel like I’m guessing on what to do.

Rent a PAR meter. Though, I dont think lighting is your issue. Have you considered an ICP?

For reference, I have an 18" deep tank, only 36" wide, and I've got mine at 40% intensity, my sandbed is 2-3" deep, and my sand is still getting 200-250 par in the corners, it's about 300~400 in the center.
