just a follow up..Great construction and fits like a glove..also does EXACTLY what was promised and focus light more on my fuge than my skimmer :) two thumbs way up

Thanks man!

I’m little nervous sending out the Kessil a160 ones, as I don’t have one to check the fitment. But, I got diameter from Kessil’s site, and can always reship if fitment isn’t perfect.

Will hope for the best, if you used kessil size for 380 and it fit would think 160 would be accurate

Yes, I read 4” diameter on kessils site, and the print at 4” is a nice press fit. So hopefully the smaller version will also be good. If not, will have to send you another

Recieved the 160, hold off making more it is too small, will grind it out and see if that works, will let you know

Could you take a measurement of your light? Is it not 2.48?

I’d be happy to send out another one or two that is slightly larger, to find the perfect fit.

Ground off a mold spur and it was snug fit, will see how it works, 6" off watercould potentially need a larger flair, fuge opening is 12"x12"

Does cut down scatter alot, concern with chieto is will it burn 7" section

So although the section appears brighter than it was before, that is just due to the increased contrast. To my understanding, the shroud is not reflecting any light or serving as an optic. It should be the same “power” on that area with or without the shroud.

Yes but it will be focused on a smaller area, the above pics allows better coverage of fuge, allows for wider spread but still staying focused in fuge and not lighting skimmer

I may try to raise light alittle bit to get better coverage on fuge bed but sure it is a fine line between full and over coverage but maybe close enough, take a look at geometry for other customers

do you think a "square" output would help you, versus the current round one?

Oh, i need this for my H380 as well, can you message me with paypal info? Im getting spill over into my skimmer sections as well.

Hey! You actually pay through the site, so R2R gets a percentage- it should look like this. I should be able to get it out Wednesday if you order today/tomorrow :)
