Got mine this week for my 380. Wow, big difference in light spill. No more algae on the rocks around the refugium. Thanks! Great product and very quick shipping.

I would also like to purchase one with a custom height though. I bought one from ebay and it works great but I still need to lower the light a bunch to get the light spill to I'm trying to achieve.
interested.. un one for h380. looking on ebay but only see kne in uk. insane shipping
no im in NY -usa. there was an ad on ebay that the guy was in the uk. and shipping was as much as item. i sent you pm. 30$ shipped sounds great.Hello, it’s $30 shipped in USA. I dont get any postage discounts, so shipping to UK would be based on the real shipping cost for a 1/2kg package.
Just saw this, thanks! Glad you like it.thought id review.... absolutely awesome, 1 second install, does exactly what it says.
What about a h160?
Hi, I want to get one for H380, but its for a 10" long. sent you a message.
So question, how does this work? I just purchased the H160; it should be here on Sunday. The intent I want to happen is not to have a wide spread of light because the current knock-off I have from Amazon creates a spread onto my skimmer causing algae growth on the inside skimmer body as well as other areas within my sump outside of the dedicated refugium spaceSo I'll be the first person to post something 3D printed in this forum! This is a really cool idea, where the forum gets 5% of the sale.
Earlier this month, I was cleaning my skimmer and annoyed at the amount of coralline. So I made a light director for Kessil H380 refugium lights. It presses on and significantly reduces the amount of light spill.
It's nothing too fancy; printed in PETG to be more temperature resistant. It takes about 9 hours to print at this layer height- I am looking for $29.99 shipped, which includes 2-day USPS priority shipping ($8). I think $2 per hour for printing is a good general rate, covering materials, wear on the printer, and then some left for profit.
I am also happy to customize the height, if you need.

This photo is from my first prototype, before I improved the design to be sleeker and more effective. You can see it does NOT block any ventilation holes.

The current model has NO LOGO
