Kessil Spectral Controllers

G'day All,

Is there any functional difference or benefits for controlling A360WE (I have 2, looking for a third) between the original Kessil Spectral Controller and the new Controller X?

i.e. can you set more time points than the 6 for the original controller or do anything smarter?

They appear to essentially be the same price though most of the new functionality seems to support the A360X.

old controllers just have the 10v head phone jack power supplies, new one have actual connection cables + the 10 volts. Not sure on the functionality of it.

My understanding is that the k-link provides some extra colour control to the A360X lights. I don't have any unfortunately, I was wondering if the new controller X provided more flexibility for A360WE than the 6 time points with the previous controller?

I tested the new x controller with a 160 when I upgraded to an x. It is the same except cloud cover and lighting are available with the x version of the controller. The x version doesn’t include a power supply so you will need one if using the lights for A360s only
