I have just set up a new tank using natural sea water. It has 2 clowns and 2 hermits and I am looking to add my first soft corals. I have a api Kh test kit giving me a reading of 6 dkh in my tank and my fresh natural sea water. Should I dose when I add my softies or just leave it alone and keep up on weekly water changes?
Thanks.

I would dose to keep the Kh a little higher as well as monitor and dose calcium and magnesium as needed. Soft corals make araganite, calcite or vaderite crystals so need calcium and bicarbonate just like stoney corals.
