1. As I am getting more into SPS corals I find my best deals ordering from Battlecorals. If you purchase a battlebox, ecspecially on sale, you can't beat his prices.
There are a lot of good deals on the live sales on here as well if you can commit enough time into it.

2. My last coral purchase was a battle box from the 1 hour sale he did for his birthday. I'm also hoping my next coral purchase will be another battlebox.

Gifted colony of trumpet corals last weekend! Thank you Mr. Drex <heart><heart>

Pretty side is more towards back so colony is stable on its rock. Feeling blessed!

Most recent coral deal was a free hammer “frag” from a local guy. 5 full heads plus 1 splitting head and about 10 baby

When I first got it:

And now: (about 2 weeks later)

Other than that, other coral additions are a green monti cap, purple monti cap, red monti cap, and Hollywood stunner chalice pack for $100 (not a terrible deal I didn’t think)

I got a 3 pack of corals from @SawCJack00 ! It was a bubblegum digitata, a rainbow stylophora, and a green slimer. Everything is doing really well and the digi has grown almost an inch taller, has completely encrusted the frag plug and about a half inch on the rock plus it has started growing 3 new sticks at the base. Stylo is always full PE (fluffy and looks like it wants to be petted), and the green slimer is happy and growing well.

1. What's the best CORAL deal you have found lately?

Deal? Not too much. My step son just got his first tank. I asked if anyone locally had zoas and a local reefer hooked him up with 8 different "frags" for $20. I know very little about zoas so I don't know is that was a good deal or not.

2. What coral frags or pieces have you purchased lately?

I like me some SPS sticks, but my wife like LPS so lately we have been getting corals with movement...I have not seen anything lately that has spoken to me, just the same old stuff. I need a coral show to come to town stat...LOL!

Walt Disney frag for $40, local reefers > online retailers.
I've bought from other hobbyists as well and I agree if you can find one local who has what you want that is usually the best deal you'll find. Ecspecially when it's someone selling frags because they don't have room instead of someone doing it specifically for profit.
I would happily buy a wd frag for considerably more than what you paid.

Great deals.

Hands down best deal was the RBTA I picked up at RAP Chicago on Sunday for $20.

Also recently purchased 9 pieces of various SPS/LPS from ARC's October live sale after sale for $115 shipped. All arrived safe and healthy yesterday. I'm continually impressed by ARC. Of course they're all small frags but growing them out is more than half the fun!
