Heyo boyos,
Got me some new fishies from petco (more like Quality Marine).

Pretty cheap, $73 in total including WA tax (I think its like 8.7% now). They had the 50% live fish and I used my 20% vital care discount along with 5$ off I had from the rewards program.

Lets see how it goes.

Petco's Saltwater fish are not bad. I have purchased some of my fish from Petco. I always make sure they are eating first. I also check the other tanks that are tied to the sump, to make sure tanks do not have dead fish or other fish that are covered in ICH, or any other disease. Above all, I do not let any of their water into my main tank. Letting their water into my main tank could spell disaster. (No idea what their water quality is) WIsh you the best on your new mates.

7 out of 9 fish that I have are PetCo fish. I will say that it depends on the quality of the staff of that particular store. The one I use has a section manager that knows his stuff and takes care in what he has.

First leopard or no?

If first, recommend going very slow with her, keep her from freaking out in the bag as she'll break her jaw, and get her acclimated slowly. I set up a landing pad tank for mine that I adjust right to the salinity of the bag water, with plenty of sand in it. Then, I just temp acclimate and get the leopard into the landing pad tank and sleeping in the sand asap. Raise salinity ~0.002sg per day. If I can get her eating during those days raising salinity, good sign.

I think that the #1 thing to watch for is injury in transit. Hope that helps if it is your first leopard!

Got the fish. They are both at 1.019. I'll have to put them in a temp tank and acclimate them from there.

Edit: they look great! The kleini looks gorgeous!

I also bought several fish during the sale which I got today. I got 2 leopard wrasses, blue sided fairy wrasse, McCosker flasher wrasse, and a lyretail anthias for about $130 shipped to my door. So far I couldn’t be happier with the transaction.

Fish look great. I got snails and hermit crabs as it was a bit cheaper than Reef Cleaners (should be here tomorrow). I was going to do some fish but everytime I added a quantity of more than one fish it gave an out of stock error on stuff I wanted (including basic damsels and other fish).

Yeah it took me a while to find things that I wanted that were actually in stock.

That's not the worst. Mine came in at 1.015sg, which is a bit brutal for acclimating. Just did it over a full week. Fingers crossed for a smooth intro to your tank!
I actually have just finished acclimating some endler Guppies so I def understand

You got endless transitioned to salt??? I may just try that I have about 100.
My petco order that came today was also a bit low salinity wise.

I lost only 2 during the 2 and something weeks of acclimation.
I kinda followed this format:
